I had my Wolstencroft Kitchen installed about a year ago. I noticed that one of the doors under the island had big scratches on it from a shoe buckle. Chris came by, took my door and was able to fix the door. While he was a my place, he also adjusted all the doors that needed adjustment. Really happy that they fixed my door at no cost 🙂 My kitchen is wonderful and of very high quality. I would recommend any day!

From the first moment to the last, David and his team, gave our family professional, courtesy, and true-to-his-word service. David spent countless hours with us, helping us design and choose interiors, and create our ideal living space. He listened and guided our ideas with his professional insight. David presented us with a detailed budget and 3-D images of floorplans and millwork–it was exactly what we needed. On site his staff worked efficiently (the job was done pretty much on schedule), they did not cut corners–instead they never hesitated to correct a problem if needed, and cleaned the job site at the end of the day. Darcy, the head of the worksite team, was always onsite early, ready to share with us the plans for the day, and organize his team. And at the end, we are so very happy with the quality of product and the quality of the workmanship! We would recommend them highly! A sincere thank you to David, Darcy, the office staff, and their on-site team–a commendable job.

In 2008, we decided to have our kitchen completely redone: new plumbing, wiring, floor, ceiling, cabinets, appliances — everything. And we needed a guaranteed completion date because we were hosting a major even on an unchangeable day. The entire crew did fantastic work, often going well beyond what we expected to make sure that things were all working smoothly and looking great. When it was all finished ahead of schedule, Dave inspected the new kitchen — and found a couple of problems we hadn’t noticed. He fixed them quickly. We were given a 10-year warranty on all work and materials. Sure enough, when we had a recent mishap with a drawer — totally our own doing — he refused to accept payment for replacing it. Eight years after it was completed, the kitchen Dave designed and built for us still looks great and works perfectly. We couldn’t recommend him more highly.

We completed our Kitchen Reno this June 2013. Dave and his team (Ray and Steve) were just great and open to all our suggestions and helping us with decisions along the way. Of most importance they were very patient with waiting on our decisions around colours and back splash tiles etc which we took a lot of time over. The teams were efficient, on time and very professional in all their work. We highly recommend this company.

We initially embarked on a kitchen reno not sure what to expect. Dave made the entire process from design to completion a real joy. Dave was central to all phases of the reno, he suggested a contractor – Lowell Binstock who was also an invaluable part of the reno. The two worked very well together, making all parts of the reno stress free. Dave tried hard to work within the budget and we appreciated this. Dave made great suggestions throughout the process on all aspects of the design. The quality of the cabinetry is exceptional and the ultimate outcome has been more than we had expected. We have also appreciated his follow-up on outstanding issues and know that he will always be available for questions or issues that may arise. The price that I have given for the reno includes the fees of the contractor and of a designer, as well as Wolstencroft Kitchens. Dave Wolstencroft was central to all phases of the project: the four of us hammered out the design together and he was on site day after day while the work went on. Several things impressed me about the way he worked with the others and with me: (a) he listened, and would later make suggestions based on the ideas that he had picked up from us (not on his own preferences); (b) his attention to detail was awe-inspiring; and (c) if he has a temper, I never saw it–he seemed always easy-going and accommodating. The final result was beautiful and on budget, so I am a very contented customer.

We had our entire kitchen renovated last year, and we are thrilled with the results. Dave exceeded my expectations at every point in the project and took ownership of the process from start to finish. Organized and professional are two words I would use to describe my experience. Dave is so knowledgeable about how kitchens should be designed, he was an invaluable resource in the design. If you ask his opinion, he will have one! He also worked closely with our contractor to ensure a smooth installation. Nothing had to be returned or reworked, and all my cabinets are still as good as new to this day. Communication throughout the project was very good and his installation team did an excellent job. A couple of minor repairs several years afterwards were dealt with promptly. Dave and his crew were professional, on time and very creative. The work is incredible in terms of look, style and presentation. Main floor addition to expand and renovate our kitchen (plus new hardwood in main floor, fixing existing plumbing nightmare, new roof, etc.) turned out great! We used Wolstencroft Kitchens and the related home renovation company to renovate our 1,500 sq ft Mid-Town condo over a three month period during 2014/15. It was a very successful project from start to finish. It was a pleasure working with Dave W. and his staff: they were highly professional and delivered what they promised. Dave’s design ideas were extraordinarily effective and the build quality was top-notch. We would strongly recommend this firm.

Dave was referred to us by our designers. Our project was not big but it was complicated. We needed to retrofit a new drawer and enclosure that matched our existing framed cabinets and build a new one. The results were amazing. Being able to perfectly match something that this already there requires real talent. We were also very impressed by the entire installation team. Very professional and courteous. One year ago my wife and I took possession of our new home. We moved from a large house in Hoggs Hollow, downsizing to a retirement community just outside the city. The new house had a large but modest kitchen that was part of a great room, dining and living areas, with large hallways as part of an open plan upper level. A kitchen renovation was in order. Wolstencroft Kitchens renovated our entire kitchen and main floor powder room – from the studs to the finished product – and worked tirelessly to produce an end result that matched our vision. Dave’s impressive knowledge and understanding of how to build a kitchen, along with the expertise of all the team, has produced a beautiful finished kitchen and bathroom that will stand the test of time. I appreciated how hard everyone worked to incorporate my design ideas – we have an innovative and extra-large custom pantry cupboard, gorgeous custom side-board and hutch, a farmhouse sink, custom range hood and mantle, and beautiful tile work on the floor and backsplash – not to mention the gorgeous cabinetry from Moralis, the fabulous Caesarstone countertops and all the behind-the-scenes things like plumbing and electrical work. Everyone took care to keep the work areas clean and tidy and to respect our home as they worked in it. Thank you to Rae, Ron, Chris, Mike, Lowell, Nigel, Dan, Don and especially to Dave.

I worked with Dave on an extensive remodel of my kitchen. The job involved a completely new layout, re-rerouting the duct for the hood, and replacing all appliances and cabinets. Given the size of the project, I was looking for somebody with a lot of experience who could offer opinions on the overall design and of course execute the work. Dave and his staff absolutely met my expectations. They were extremely responsible, responsive, and they demonstrated excellent problem solving skills when issues arose (e.g., they found a slow leak from the upstairs bathroom, which required some flexible scheduling in order to prevent delays). Throughout the process, Dave provided useful advice that helped me make what I felt were informed decisions on all aspects of the job, from the overall design to specific choices for appliances and hardware. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend Dave to others. The kitchen turned out really well, and our interactions with Dave and his staff were excellent. While they are not the cheapest option, the quality of the work and customer service were well worth the price in our view.

March 2014. Our kitchen renovation project was a total re-do. We are very happy that we found David Wolstencroft of Wolstencroft Kitchens Ltd. Wolstencroft Kitchens is a “one stop” kitchen renovation company. (They also do fine cabinetry.) From the excellent design, to scheduling general contractors, the electrician, masonry, cabinet installation, countertop installation, flooring, Wolstencroft Kitchens handled everything. All the workers who were involved in the renovation were skilled and very personable. The kitchen is beautiful, and as important, the kitchen functionality exceeded our expectations. Even though the footprint of the kitchen is not much bigger, the kitchen seems so much bigger because of the design. Dave Wolstencroft was with us all the way, from design to completion, impressing us with his knowledge and design experience. Dave has made connections with all aspects of a kitchen renovation, so he could recommend appliance stores, tile stores, lighting stores, flooring stores as well as co-ordinating all aspects of the renovation. This was extremely helpful. The cabinets are really beautiful, very functional and made in Canada. Everything went according to schedule, the renovation was as stress free as possible and we now have a fantastic kitchen. It is really great knowing that there are renovation companies that deliver a great product with skill, integrity, and on time and within budget.

We used Wolstencroft Kitchens in the fall of 2011 to renovate our kitchen and laundry room. We were specifically looking for someone that would manage the entire project and coordinate the various trades in a timely manner so that we would not be without a kitchen for longer than necessary. We were extremely happy with the final result and Dave and his team (Jen, Don, Ray and Steve) were professional, courteous and helpful throughout the project. Everything from the tile work (Mike) to the cabinetry (Ray) was beautifully done. After living with the work for close to 17 months now, I am happy to say that everything has held up very well and any minor tweeks that have been required were promptly dealt with. The project was completed in a timely fashion within the budget which had been outlined at the start of the project.
